Minds innocent of quiet take

ANGELS DRESSED IN WHITE

As I was dreaming one night,
I saw Angels dressed in white.
Flying slowly through the air,
The Angels were saying a prayer.
Bless this one dear Lord,
One day she will get her reward.
She will receive her Angel wings,
And join us as we sing.
She will be a strong one you see,
With her wings she will be free.
To find the one who needs her most,
This new Angel will stay very close.
To help and guide them through,
Could this Angel be for you.

LOSS OF A LIFELONG BESTEST FRIEND

You must be an angel by now!

I knew I was going to miss you
I know you had to go.
The office is empty without you
Your chair will have to go.

Your headstone has not been put up yet
but the flowers are still there,
I have to go and talk to you still
To let you know I care.

The diff'rence without you butting in
More pointless empty chat.
Is boring and more than I can bear
Thinking,wondering just where you are at?

Is it nice with sunshine up above
as promised in The Book
Which cloud? as I send my love to you
and now Gods hand you've shook!

Trust you! You always are in the front,
You had to be the first.
You'd better hang around for me though!

The angels are here,
I heard my Dad say.
There are three on the roof
They're not leaving today.
There is one very tall one
And one to each side,
Could they possibly be my guides?
Go and get my glasses so I can see.
I think the angels are here for me.

There are angels in the Heavens,
There are angels on the ground.
There are angels all around you,
Just waiting to be found.
So when you are feeling lonely
Or just a little blue,
Open your eyes to see the angels,
They are there, waiting for you.

I saw the dark clouds swirl across the sky
Chased off by an angels sigh!
Revealing azure, luminous and clear,
A pure first day when hopes were high.

But best of all, you were by my side.
I walked with you a while my dear,
Through years of happiness and love,
But I could not keep you here.

The clouds came back
and hid you from my sight
I could not find my light.

Yet I can dream those times again
and feel that they are true.
This time I see the Angel
in the sky is really you.

Angels are all around us, most of us know this.
Some are too cynical or busy to notice.
Some think they just have wings and fly.
but others don't even question why.

They look like you and me. They all have a purpose.
They are only here to guide us and serve us.
How many times have we said,"That was close!"
and went on to feel depressed and morose?

We never even thought of how lucky we are
to have these angels provide us with care.
So next time you see the beggar on the street
remember to greet him and be real sweet

For it just might be a test from God
to see how loving you'll be to this sot.
So get in your car or catch the bus
But please don't forget whose watching over us.

Thank them and cherish them and give them the praise
and you will be blessed the rest of your days
