Easter Greetings

by Jackie
(Scotland)

I've just written my own as your collection of Easter poems is nice but a bit too religious for my wayward friends. So here goes. I hope it is useful to someone out there

Easter marks the end of Winter
And what a rotten one it's been
Here's hoping that the Spring
Is the springiest we've seen

And on into the Summer
It's to be a scorcher, I've been told
So expose your bod while the sun shines
Afore the Fall brings back the cold

Have a very Happy Easter
Not in the least snowbound
Here's hoping your Summer's longer
Than I just made it sound
